Clarke County Hospital is proud to recognize Hope Bell, RN and Autumn Ortiz, RN as the 2026 recipients of the internationally recognized DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses. This year’s celebration was made even more special with two outstanding nurses being honored for their compassion, clinical excellence and unwavering dedication to patient care.

The DAISY Award was created to recognize nurses who provide exceptional clinical care and compassion to patients and families. At Clarke County Hospital, the award honors nurses who go above and beyond to make a meaningful difference through kindness, empathy, professionalism and personalized care.

Bell and Ortiz were recognized for the compassionate support, comfort and guidance they provided to a patient and family during a difficult time. Their knowledge, teamwork and ability to help families feel informed and supported throughout the care journey exemplify the meaningful impact nurses make every day.
